The Mechanical Pressure Sensor is one of the most reliable mechanical pressure sensors designed specifically to monitor internal pressure variations in silo and bunker systems.

Operating Principle

The detects increases in internal silo pressure through a precise mechanical sensing mechanism:

  • When the internal pressure exceeds the allowable limit, the silicone membrane moves and activates the sensing mechanism.

  • The sensor then sends a warning signal to the control panel or automation system.

  • This signal enables protective actions such as stopping the filling process or opening the safety valve.

The system requires no complex electronics or air supply, providing a low-maintenance and highly reliable solution.
